This is a question for all the drivers who insist on driving like we have unlimited amounts of fuel to burn?  With the recent gas problems isn’t it time to SLOW down?

I have spent the last 12 years as a professional driver for entertainers, driving both trucks and buses.  I have over 1.6 million miles on the ground in these vehicles.  My last truck I put 327K miles on in less than three years.

I believe that the current market is making some people anxious and as a result of the constant use of cell phones, texting, reading and applying make-up while driving it is a dangerous world to drive in.

Please learn to conserve fuel and slow down. It is proven that all the speeding only gets you to the place seconds before people who observe the posted speed limits.

Tailgating is used in NASCAR for a reason not on the city streets of Nashville.  As a REALTOR this is the constant question I get from buyers moving here from other parts of the country.  Boy, you seem to have some aggresive drivers here?

Maybe this is the way that Nashville wants to be viewed by the rest of the country, but I would hope that is not the case. We have a long way to go to become the city that most of us want.  Please try to observe the other people who do not drive the way you do and take note, the same drivers will ruin the system for all if we do not SLOW DOWN!

We don’t say it often enough - thank you for being a client!

It comes to mind that I have not explained some of the vendors that I have chosen in my business.

I have used Home Warranty on many deals to date and will continue to use them 100% of the time. Their customer service is unparalleled and ALL my clients have been very satisfied with the benefits of the coverage.     * (I am compensated for each deal written).

One client has saved over $600.00 in one year on service alone?

Home Warranty recognizes that striving for excellent customer service is always an ongoing effort, but all too often our many positive experiences don’t get shared, simply because we are all very busy.   Please know that this company walks the walk with your most valuable possession, your home.  Please go to their web site for more information. www.hwaHomeWarranty.com.

Thank you.If you haven’t seen it here is a video that explains the coverage,   www.hwaHomeWarranty.com/owners/video

I know that I have failed myself with the daily attempts to make some headway with words.  I will try to add a feature a week on the current market here in middle Tennessee.  Thanks for all your patience.

Well it is the day before tax day, The Globetrotters tour is officially over and I am back to full time real estate.  I did not last the whole tour but needed the time to get some business done.

Nashville’s real estate scene is booming.  I have never seen more buyers than now in my limited time in real estate. April 10, 2008 I entered my third year as a full time agent.

I am working on several things. First, is I have defined a niche that I am going to pursue with a partner Ms. Chrissy Kirkwood of the Keller Williams Green Hills Office. We are going to provide services for members of the alternative lifestyle community, in the 37207 and 37206 zip codes.
Second, farming my own neighborhood in Green Hills.  Thirdly, working on the Waylon Jennings Celebration Concert June 14th and June 15th, 2008. Last but not least actively recruiting for my company. In this new economy one wants to work with a company that is fair. I will concentrate my business in 2008 in developing several key commercial and residential agents that will see the benefit of working for the best real estate company in the business.

I hope that you all had a great mid-winter into early spring and are ready for the summer of ‘08. Politics and heat!

Cheers,

I have taken a temporary leave of absence from working in real estate to work as Assistant Tour Merchandise Manager for The Harlem Globetrotters “Blue Team”. I will be “on the road” through April 18, 2008 and have limited access to email during this period and will post as often as I can. Happy New Year to you all,

I just wanted to take a minute and say Merry Christmas to all my friends, family and colleagues. May this be a joyous time for you and your loved ones!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble.

Thank you,

The generally accepted definition of affordable housing is when a household spends no more than 30 percent of their income on rent or a mortgage, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Web site.  Families who pay more than this amount have difficulty paying for basics like food, clothing and medical treatment.

I for one stand for more stringent laws making developers produce a larger percentage of affordable housing in every market in Tennessee. Nashville, Mayor Karl Dean is very proactive and will make downtown a greater place to live in the coming years.  The previous administration under Mayor Purcell made great strides towards making Nashville one of the leaders in this area of real estate development. Nashville currently has over 100 such units available in the downtown neighborhoods. The downtown population is exploding right now. Five years ago fewer than 900 people lived in downtown Nashville. Now over 3500 people live downtown with development of over 11,000 units planned in the next five years!
